My Horse is a Movie Star! (ok not really but kinda)

Here’s a cool fact that I love to share. When I bought Dixie the owners told me the website with her info. I found her and her dam’s page. Dixie’s registered name is Hang’n Bananas Daquiri (I know, it’s kinda silly XD). Her dam’s name is Okan Nancy Allen aka Nan. Nan had her own page filled with interesting facts and a list of all her foals.

Several years later, I watched Napoleon Dynamite for the first time. I thought it was a hilarious movie and highly recommend it. Anyway, if you’ve seen it, you’ll know that there is a bay horse at the end that Napoleon gives to his brother as a wedding present. Later, I was checking the website again and realized that Nan was that horse in Napoleon Dynamite! That’s right, Dixie’s mom acted in a movie. Crazy! I hope you enjoy these facts as much as I do!
